Arya Publications launches Hindi translated versions of the book Raja Shivchhatrapati The book launch event of Hindi translated version of “Raja Shivchhatrapati” was held on 22nd January 2020. The event was organised by Arya Publishing Company. Sah Sarkaryavah, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Krishna Gopal and Field Manager, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dr Bajrang Lal Gupta were the main speakers of the event. Educationist Professor Jagmohan Singh Rajput was also in the panel with the other speakers. The book is originally written in the Marathi language by writer Babasaheb Purandare in two volumes. Both of the volumes are translated in Hindi by Meera and published by Arya Publications. Krishna Gopal gave insights about the book that narrates the bravery of Shivaji through the stories of his battles with the Mughals. Gopal also narrated the escape story of Shivaji from the prison of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. He also narrated the childhood tales of Shivaji where he built his army on his own and won many castles. Prof. J S Rajput discussed why it is important for the youth to know about the history of their country. He said, “The future of your country depends on the youth who is familiar with the historical literature and the great warriors of the history. In this direction, this book has launched so that students and our readers can know more about the legendary warrior Shivaji.” He also added that the books till class 10th play a very important role in the development of the future. He also highlighted that NCERT books are continuing the same syllabus from many years. The students need to study the new and updated syllabus. The book launch event was held in the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi where all the speakers discussed the role of history in developing the youth of the country.
